I see that Jet Airways announced a code share agreement with American Airlines. Travelers flying from Raleigh-Durham, Baltimore, Boston, Dallas, Washington, JFK and Cleveland to New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata or Mumbai can purchase AA branded tickets. All these flights will be routed via JFK in the US and via New Delhi in India.
I have heard a couple of folks and desi travel agents say good things about flying by Emirates Airlines to India.
